Irrigated vs. Dryland

Idaho farming includes both irrigated and dryland operations. The Snake River Plain and Treasure Valley rely heavily on irrigation, while the Palouse region is predominantly dryland. Idaho has approximately 3.3 million irrigated acres statewide.
